This recipe combines vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and a hint of sparkle to create a refreshing drink that's great for any occasion. Let's get mixing!

Ingredients - Serves 8

  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice (about 4 medium oranges)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 2 cups soda water or sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine (for a splash of color)
  • Ice cubes

Garnishes

  • Orange slices
  • Lime wedges
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Mint leaves
  • Edible flowers (like pansies or violets)

Equipment

  • Large pitcher or punch bowl
  • Stirring spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Jigger or measuring cup

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Start by juicing the fresh oranges and limes. If you have a citrus juicer, this process will be quick and efficient. If not, you can use ready made juice options. Fresh juice isn't a must, but does makes a difference in flavor and gives it that extra wow factor.

  2. Mix the Base:
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, and coconut water. Stir well to mix it all up.

  3. Sweeten It Up:
Add the simple syrup to the juice mixture, adjusting the amount to your desired sweetness. For a healthier alternative, consider using agave syrup or honey. Stir until fully dissolved.

  4. Add Some Sparkle:
Just before serving, pour in the soda water or sparkling water. This will give your mocktail that refreshing fizz.

  5. Add a Splash of Color:
Gently pour the grenadine over the back of a spoon into the mixture, allowing it to settle at the bottom. This creates a gorgeous layered effect for a beautiful presentation.

  6. Serve and Garnish: Fill individual glasses with ice cubes and pour the mocktail over the ice. Garnish each glass with a slice of orange, a wedge of lime, and a chunk of pineapple. Add a sprig of fresh mint and an edible flower if you're adventurous.

Enjoy!
